A lifelong resident of the Bismarck/Mandan area, she brings nearly 10 years of experience working with individuals and families impacted by violence. Kayla has direct service experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence & human trafficking. In this role, she provided advocacy to survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and stalking, and responded to sexual assault crisis calls. She also participated in the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force and Adult Protective Services Multidisciplinary Team meetings, supporting victims during and after law enforcement operations. Earlier in her career, Kayla worked as a child advocate supporting children and parents navigating trauma. Jackson was born and raised in the western part of the state, hailing from Dickinson, North Dakota. After graduation from Dickinson Trinity High School he attended North Dakota State University. Thomas graduated from NDSU with a degree in History and a minor in Political Science. After graduating from college, Thomas moved on to Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. Missing the open prairies and hunting and fishing in North Dakota, Thomas moved back to the area after graduating from law school and spending some time practicing law in Nebraska. Mr. Jackson’s areas of focus are Estate Planning, Probate, Family Law, Federal Criminal Law, Commercial Law Litigation, and Business Law Litigation. Mr. Jackson proudly claims Mandan as his adopted home where he resides with his lovely wife Tanya and three amazing daughters. He is a former Mandan City Commissioner and continues to try to stay busy, either as a spectator or volunteer with different groups around Mandan, including the Mandan Marlins Swim Club, the Mandan Soccer Club, the Clay Target League, and Mandan High School Athletics. A proud Bison Alumnus to this day, Tom enjoys watching as much Bison athletics as possible, hunting, fishing, and spending time in Northern Minnesota lake country.

Who Should Attend: Advocates, Attorneys, Alliance to End Partner Abuse members, Social Workers, Counselors & Therapists,

Approved for 6.0 ND CLE Credits

**CEUs for Social Workers pending

For additional information and registration, click HERE.
