2019 Fundamentals Webinar: Leadership and Communication

Leadership, as a subject, can be learned, but the art of effective leadership requires both knowledge and skill. By definition, leaders work with others, and communication is at the heart of the opportunities and challenges we all face, particularly when working together. A leader needs to communicate effectively, as well as being competent and credible. The quality of the relationship between leaders and followers provides the foundation. Those who aspire to leadership need the opportunity to practice with others, exchanging insights and perspectives, in order to develop their potential and expand their capacity to affect change in the world. This webinar will first review fundamentals of leadership and communication and then provide an opportunity for participants to discuss application of these concepts to current issues in the profession.
