2013 Fundamentals of Law Webinar: Cybersecurity in the digital age: the lawyer's role

Date: 10/2/2013
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Practicing law requires using technology--whether to prepare and deliver legal services or to obtain evidence for litigation. Using technology requires that lawyers acquaint themselves with what is broadly defined as cybersecurity. This program will review a lawyer's legal and ethical duty to protect client and third party data from theft or destruction and offer suggestions how that protection could be accomplished.
