Date: 2/26/2013
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
According to the most recent ND DOT data (2011), there is one traffic crash in North Dakota every 28 minutes. A person is injured in a traffic crash in North Dakota every 1.7 hours, and a person dies in a crash every 2.5 days. It is an unfortunate reality that you, or your client, will be forced to navigate the maze created by multiple auto insurance companies providing multiple insurance coverages.

The seminar is intended to introduce the practitioner to North Dakota motor vehicle insurance, and help the practitioner avoid the traps waiting for the unwary. We will survey the typical types of insurance involved—liability, no-fault, underinsured, uninsured, collision and comprehensive coverage—and discuss the ways that the coverages can work together to provide maximum benefit for the insured.

Navigating the maze that is motor vehicle insurance in North Dakota is rarely easy. However, the seminar will provide a road map which should make navigation of this maze far easier for the legal practitioner.
