Program Highlights

• The presentation will cover the prevention of and civil remedies for international parental child abduction, including a detailed discussion on the Hague Abduction Convention, its history and structure, and how to bring a Hague case in the United States. The audience will also learn about the Hague Attorney Network
• The presentation will focus on how family law attorneys should handle the occasion where their client or other party has been involved with child pornography or sexual abuse and how to proceed with any evidence obtained from their client.

• The Women Lawyer Section will sponsor a dinner on Thursday, November 18th starting with a cash bar at 6:00 with dinner starting at 6:30. The program, “Women in Public Life” will examine the need for women to consider their options for getting involved in public life, especially the judiciary. A panel discussion will include an overview of how women can not only get involved, but also manage the rest of their life as well.
