On February 5 the ABA Commission on Law & Aging will host a free, one-hour webcast on the Uniform Adult Guardianship & Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act (UAGPPJA). Topics of discussion will include guardianship and the need for a uniform law, key problems of interstate guardianship and how the Act addresses them, how the Act could help reduce elder abuse, and advocating for state enactment.
